In 2024, the Ely Hero Awards proudly supported Highfield Friends and Parents Association (HFPA) as their Charity of the Year. HFPA organises fundraising events and community activities to promote Highfield School and raise essential funds for opportunities beyond the school’s budget.
Highfield School provides a nurturing environment for SEN students, and this year, fundraising focused on refurbishing the Sensory Room. The Ely Hero Awards were delighted to assist in raising both funds and awareness for this important cause.
HFPA representatives attended the 2024 Launch Party, where they showcased the school’s impactful work. During the Awards Ceremony, a raffle and the first-ever charity auction, featuring items donated by local businesses, raised hundreds of pounds.
By the end of the season, the Ely Hero Awards donated £2000 to HFPA, their largest charity contribution to date. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated prizes, purchased raffle tickets, or participated in the auction—you made this incredible achievement possible!
