Arthur Rank Hospice Charity provides vital support to people across Cambridgeshire living with an advancing serious illness, as well as those approaching the end of life. Their dedicated teams provide care, support and advice to patients and their families when they need it most.

Running these vital services comes at a significant cost. Arthur Rank Hospice Charity needs to raise millions of pounds each year through donations, fundraising, retail sales and other community support to help fund the services not covered by NHS funding. Every contribution makes a real difference.

The £4,000 raised at the Ely Hero Awards would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of local businesses and individuals who donated prizes, bought raffle tickets and placed bids in the auction.

A special thank you goes to Martin Millard from Cheffins Fine Art, who brought plenty of energy to the room and did a fantastic job encouraging guests to get involved in the auction.

We’d also like to thank every business that donated a prize, everyone who purchased a raffle ticket or placed a bid, and all of our guests who helped make the evening such a success.

The generosity shown throughout the evening was a fantastic reflection of the community spirit at the heart of the Ely Hero Awards – and we’re delighted that together, we’ve been able to raise £4,000 for such an important local charity.
